Ozu Castle Town transforms into a vibrant bar district!

The "Ozu Ukai Bar" is held every month in the Konan area. "Ukai," in this case means "detour," and is a play on words with the cormorant fishing, which is also called "ukai."

The district’s unique shopkeepers team up to turn the whole town into a stylish bar district.

Businesses stay open until 8:00 PM, offering their “oshizake”: signature drinks and snacks.

For just 600 yen, you can enjoy a drink and snack set as you barhop your way around the area.

Starting in August 2024, to help reduce waste, special reusable glasses will be available for purchase at 1,000 yen. If you buy and use these glasses, the usual 600-yen price for the Ukai Bar experience will be reduced to 500 yen.

Stamp Rally Details

Starting from the 8th Ukai Bar event, the stamp rally has a new design, resembling a radio calisthenics card
Show your card when you order, and each participating store will stamp it.

Collect stamps from 30 shops and you can exchange them for a reward at Machi no Eki Asamoya, so be sure to challenge yourself!
Please note: Each shop will only provide one stamp per event.
The reward exchange is available until 8:00 PM on the day of the event.

About the Special Glasses

From this event on, guests with the special Ukai Bar glass will enjoy the event for 500 yen.
Without the glass, the cost remains 600 yen, so be sure to take note!
The glasses are available for purchase at any participating store (1,000 yen).

Additionally, designated areas to wash your glass will be provided.
