Utamarokan

At Utamarokan, panels introduce the developmental stages and history of ukiyo-e. In addition, the store ``Tsutaya Koshodo'' by Tsutaya Juzaburo, who produced and introduced Utamaro to the world, has been restored to recreate the way ukiyo-e were sold. The process of producing ukiyo-e is introduced using the restoration of ``Fox Fishing Picture'' as an example. Also on display are tools used for carving and printing.
