Roman 8 Bridges

Eight covered bridges built from Meiji to Heisei

Miyuki Bridge, Mishima Bridge, Toyotoshi Bridge, Obie Bridge, Ryushin Bridge, Fureai Bridge, Ryuo Bridge, Akitaki Bridge,The eight bridges of the stepping stone bridge are collectively named "Roman 8 Bridges". These bridges, which connect nature with the lives of people in each era, have a beautiful view and a profound sense of romance. The bridge with a roof, which is rare in Japan, was built from the wisdom and kindness of our ancestors to keep out the rain and dew at least on the bridge. It has inherited that feeling and is preserved as a historical heritage of Kawabe Town.
