This shop sells daily necessities made all over Japan, with a focus on craftsmanship in Shikoku and the Setouchi region. The store is a renovated hospital built in the early Showa period, and sells products related to "clothing, food, and shelter" from Shikoku and the Setouchi region, such as Tobe ware from Ehime, Imabari towels, gloves from Kagawa, knives from Kochi, indigo dyeing from Tokushima, and canvas from Okayama. Their original product, MONPE, is made from Kurume Kasuri, a traditional fabric from Fukuoka that has been around for about 200 years. It is soft to the touch and lightweight, making it easy to carry when traveling, and is perfect for walking around town or as indoor wear.
