Cormorant fishing (ukai) is a traditional fishing method of Japan in which cormorants are skillfully manipulated to catch river fish such as ayu.
At Ozu Ukai, a cormorant boat with a bonfire and a passenger houseboat run together to go down the river, a method called "match-making," which is rare in Japan, and you can enjoy the moment when the cormorants catch fish up close.

Ozu Castle Town Boat Tour
